Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre was born in 1975 in Bremen. He lives in Berlin and is an editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. "Show #7" is a chapter from his novel Livealbum, which was published in German by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 1999.
